T minus Two Weeks

Well, we're exactly two weeks from the big trip, and I'm starting to go into "obsessive planning" mode. Every day at work, I have the Old Faithful live streaming video on my computer. I'm usually able to catch about 3 eruptions a day. Secondly, I've begun to compose our trip itinerary. There's just so much information I've found from books, websites, blogs and word of mouth, that it just makes sense to develop one giant document that I can print out and carry around with us EVERYWHERE. Plus, it will help me have piece of mind that no reservations were forgotten. I'm just not a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants kinda gal. What can I say?!

I dug through lots of old pictures tonight to find this one to the right. And over the course of the next several days (leading up to the actual vacation) I will post some of the others that I scanned from old family vacations.

This picture is from the Palmier Family Vacation of 1993 to Rocky Mountain National Park. While our friends in the St. Louis area were trying to stay afloat while battling the Flood of '93, we were enjoying less threatening sights like the Cache La Poudre River seen here.
